Test Engineer Secure Connected Edge (SCE)
Business Unit Description
NXPs Secure Connected Edge (SCE) business unit offers high-performance multicore solutions that transport analyze and secure data from the edge of the network to the cloud.
Job Summary:
- Understand IP documentation for test related requirements.
- Develop test and characterization software for ATE (Automated Test Equipment).
- Develop test cases for complex mixed-signal IP.
- Define test hardware requirements and review hardware designs.
- Debug test software test hardware and Silicon bugs.
- Support new products from bring-up through qualification and productization.
- Assure IP outgoing quality reliability and performance.
- Implement strategies to reduce test time (cost savings).
- Work collaboratively to solve problems and identify test coverage gaps between global design verification design-for-test (DFT) validation and product engineering teams.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Masters degree in electrical or computer engineering.
- Understanding of Microcontroller and Applications processor architectures.
- Proficiency in both reading and writing code.
- Knowledge of C/C VBA Java Python Ruby along with analog circuit and transmission line theory are beneficial.
- Must have good communication skills and be able to work well with cross functional teams.
- Self-motivated individual.
