Job Description
As a Security Officer - Security Dispatch Desk in Miami FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more. Learn more: As a Dispatch Officer at a commercial real estate location you will coordinate daily security-related operations from a central post monitoring activity managing radio and phone communications and directing officers to calls for service. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants visitors and property staff by following site-specific procedures property rules and security-related protocols and by assisting with emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Monitor phones radios and security-related systems such as alarms cameras and access control and dispatch officers and/or maintenance contacts to reported issues.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner gathering key details giving clear directions to responding personnel and escalating notifications per post orders.
- Maintain accurate logs and reports of calls for service dispatch activity incident details and follow-up actions in accordance with Allied Universal requirements.
- Coordinate regular and random patrol coverage requests around buildings parking areas and the perimeter and communicate observations and/or instructions to on-site personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be 21 years of age.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
