The Regional Nursing Manager provides clinical leadership and operational support to Outpatient Health Clinic teams ensuring staff are well-trained competent and compliant with all clinical and regulatory requirements. This role oversees the implementation of standard clinic policies procedures and documentation while delivering hands-on training and conducting regular chart and compliance audits. The manager collaborates with leadership to support staffing supply needs staff meetings and workflow efficiency and provides clinic coverage as needed. This position will travel between Kosciusko Marshall and St. Joseph Counties.
Duties/Responsibilities:

- Clinically support the Outpatient Health Clinic team by ensuring staff are well-trained clinically supported and compliant with all mandatory training and competency requirements.
- Support recruitment and hiring process.
- Responsible for onboarding and ongoing training to build and sustain a high-performing clinical team.
- Provide clinical training to medical support staff in policies procedures workflow forms utilization point-of-care testing and injections.
- Maintain proficiency in clinic policies procedures and forms to ensure operational efficiency compliance and standardization across assigned locations.
- Manage clinic scheduling for assigned locations to ensure adequate coverage and efficient workflow.
- Collaborate closely with Practice Administrators to ensure smooth day-to-day functioning.
- Attend meetings as requested by leadership.
- Complete all required internal and external training per organizational and licensure/certification standards.
- Facilitate medical support staff meetings as directed by the Executive Director and/or Medical Director.
- Coordinate with Practice Administrators to ensure clinic supply needs are met.
- Oversee pharmaceutical representative luncheons to ensure they comply with organizational policies.
- Conduct chart audits to ensure completeness accuracy and timeliness of medical support staff documentation including vital signs AIMS medication education refill guideline adherence and consent forms.
- Ensure medication and equipment logs are completed accurately and on time.
- Facilitate the transporting of medications between clinic locations as needed.
- Provide clinic coverage as needed to fill staffing gaps and maintain continuity of care.
- Other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
- Occupational Exposure Risk Classification: The normal work routine involves moderate exposure to blood body fluids or tissues.
- The normal work routine has a minimal ergonomic risk for repetitive motion impairment.
- The position may require a minimal amount of physical exertion (bending lifting twisting) in the work area.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors Degree in Nursing or actively pursuing a degree in Advance Nursing.
- Experience: Required two (2) years of nursing leadership training and/or management experience.
- Certificate or Professional License:
- Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Indiana.
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) - certification must be obtained after hire and prior to providing direct patient care. This certification must be maintained and kept current through employment.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and First Aid - certification must be obtained after hire and prior to providing direct patient care. This certification must be maintained and kept current through employment.
- Valid drivers license and active auto insurance coverage.
- Satisfactory results from criminal and driving record background checks
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
