Consor Engineers is seeking a Senior Water/Wastewater Pipeline Engineer / Project Managerto join our growing Phoenix AZ office. About the Role

As a Senior Engineer / Project Manager focused on water reclaimed water and wastewater conveyance you will be responsible for the planning design and delivery of pipeline relatedprojects for municipal clients. You will lead multidisciplinary teams manage project execution from planning through construction and serve as a trusted advisor to clients. This role combines handson technical leadership with project management staff development and business development responsibilities.

What Youll Do:

  • Serve as Project Manager and/or Technical Lead for water and wastewater pipeline projects overseeing scope schedule budget and quality.
  • Lead the planning and design of water distribution reclaimed water and wastewater collection systems including pipelines pump stations lift stations and storage facilities.
  • Perform and oversee hydraulic analyses and system modeling to support system sizing capacity evaluations and operational optimization.
  • Develop and review technical deliverables including engineering reports feasibility studies design plans and profiles specifications and cost estimates.
  • Coordinate with survey geotechnical environmental and utility stakeholders to support constructible designs.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients supporting longterm relationships and ensuring successful project outcomes.
  • Support project pursuits including proposal development scope definition fee development and participation in interviews.
  • Mentor junior and midlevel engineers providing technical guidance and supporting career development.
  • Ensure quality control and adherence to Consor standards across conveyance projects.

What Youll Need:

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • 8 years of progressive experience in water and/or wastewater conveyance and pipeline engineering.
  • Bachelors degree in Civil or a closely related engineering discipline.
  • Proven experience managing engineering projects and leading multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong technical writing communication and clientfacing skills.

Preferred Qualifications (not required)

  • Experience delivering pipeline projects through design and construction.
  • Strong background in pipeline condition assessment rehabilitation modeling and related tasks.
  • Familiarity with municipal water distribution and wastewater collection standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance project management technical leadership and staff mentorship.
  • Interest in supporting business development and longterm client growth.

This hybrid position fluctuates between an office environment and a field environment and routinely requires the use of standard office equipment such as computers phones cameras and copy machines. This job will require occasional exposure to work environments that may include inclement weather heat humidity noise construction hazards atmospheric conditions and bodies of water depending on project requirements.
While performing the duties of this job physical demands of the employee include frequent sitting walking standing talking hearing and occasional balancing stooping kneeling crouching reaching handling grasping and feeling. This job will require operating a company vehicle and may include lifting carrying pushing and pulling up to 35 lbs.
