Grafham Water a stunning 1500-acre reservoir and visitor attraction is looking for a practical hands-on Ranger to join our team. This opportunity blends teamwork with active fieldwork from maintaining facilities and delivering high-quality visitor experiences to supporting our renowned fishery.

As a Park Ranger youll work alongside the team in all weather repairing cleaning patrolling checking and problem-solving while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining the site to the highest standard.

What the role entails

Team Work:

• Work alongside the Ranger team to keep Grafham Water safe clean operational and well-presented.

• Carry out and record health and safety checks inspections and maintenance tasks.

• Work closely with management to deliver high standards across the park.

Hands-on operations:

• Help with everything from repairing and servicing facilities to groundskeeping cleaning and boat maintenance.

• Keep equipment and tools in good working order.

Customer engagement:

• Welcome and assist visitors and anglers on-site answering questions and ensuring they have a great experience.

• Promote the Anglian Water brand and all our water parks.

Support events and activities:

• Prepare and deliver park events including setting up practical logistics and on-the-day support.

Were looking for someone who:

• Holds a full valid driving licence.

• Is passionate about Grafham Water and everything the park has to offer.

• Enjoys physical work outdoors in all seasons.

• Brings strong hands-on maintenance and practical skills (e.g. fencing repairs facilities upkeep).

• Is a solution focussed problem solver.

• Basic IT skills e.g. Microsoft Office packages including Word Excel and Outlook

• Is customer-focused with a friendly approachable manner.

• Can work flexibly tackling varied jobs each day.
