About the role
We are looking for a new colleague to join our newly established VELUX Global Finance & GBS Center of Excellence (CoE) to support our Marketing and region NACA areas.
As a Junior Business Controller in the Global Finance & GBS CoE you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our financial operations and performance by supporting local finance teams in Sales&Marketing. Your key tasks will include streamlining processes planning and forecasting and creating insights through reporting and supporting on ad-hoc requests.
Your responsibilities
- Preparing financial calculations analyses and reports to support business controlling activities.
- Supporting the preparation of regular financial reporting and ad-hoc analyses for finance and business stakeholders.
- Assisting in budgeting forecasting and financial planning processes.
- Monitoring financial performance and supporting variance analysis.
- Participating in the development and improvement of financial templates reports and Excel-based models.
- Contributing to the standardization and optimization of financial planning and reporting processes.
- Collaborating with Finance Business Partners and other finance colleagues to provide insights and respond to ad-hoc requests.
Our requirements
- Masters degree in Finance Accounting Economics or a related field.
- First experience in Business Controlling Finance Financial Analysis or similar (internship or junior role).
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Proficiency in Excel and other financial tools
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team
- High attention to detail and accuracy
