Job Description
As a Security Officer Lobby Ambassador in Goose Creek SC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients visitors and employees by carrying out site-specific policies front desk procedures and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Monitor access to the location by greeting visitors verifying identification and/or credentials maintaining visitor logs and communicating with site contacts regarding arrivals.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner escalating concerns through established communication channels when needed.
- Answer phones manage inquiries and support front desk operations while helping to deter unauthorized access through consistent application of security-related procedures.
- Prepare clear reports of daily activities incidents and unusual observations and share relevant information with Allied Universal leadership and/or site representatives.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
