This role is ideal for earlycareer professionals who want exposure to the energy industry while building foundational skills in sales business development and customer engagement. An engineering background is preferredbut not required. If youre curious driven and excited to learn we want to hear from you.
What Youll Do
As an SDR youll play a key role in building our sales pipeline by connecting with prospective customers learning their challenges and facilitating meaningful conversations about Pelotons solutions.
Pipeline Generation & Outreach
- Research and identify target companies aligned with Pelotons solutions.
- Execute outbound communication through email phone LinkedIn and postevent followups.
- Maintain consistent outreach activity aligned with performance goals.
Discovery & Qualification
- Conduct introductory discovery calls to understand:
- Business needs and technical environment
- Current systems and workflows
- Key challenges and pain points
- Decisionmaking structure and timelines
CRM & Sales Tools
- Accurately track contacts activities and notes in CRM System.
- Insights from customer conversations
- Industry trends etc.
- Learn and apply best practices for data quality and CRM discipline.
Campaign & Team Support
- Support targeted sales campaigns related to:
- Product launches
- Industry events
- Crosssell initiatives
- Collaborate closely with Marketing and Business Development on structured outreach programs.
Event & Conference FollowUp
- Lead structured followup from:
- Trade shows
- Webinars
- User conferences
- Executive roundtables
- Convert marketing engagement into qualified sales conversations.
What Were Looking For
- Recent graduate or earlycareer professional (02 years of experience).
- Engineering degree preferred but technical or business degree will be considered
- Internship or coop exposure to oil and gas is an asset.
- Strong communication skills and comfort speaking with professionals.
- Bilingualism in English and Spanish is an asset but not required
- Curious organized and eager to learn.
- Comfortable using (or learning) tools like CRM systems LinkedIn and sales technology.
- Selfmotivated with a desire to grow into a commercial or account management role.
