About Tétris

Tétris is a wholly owned subsidiary of JLL a global real estate services firm that provides comprehensive integrated property related expertise including management transaction and advisory services to investors and occupiers locally regionally and globally.

This core business in JLLs EMEA region has grown from two acquisitions in Spain (2006) and France (2007) to the present where it delivers office hotel and retail fit-out projects in the 14 countries where it has operations. On the back of this successful growth the Tétris business has become EMEAs leading design & build interior fit-out services provider.

We are seeking an HSSE Technician to monitor construction projects regarding safety and environmental matters promoting compliance and improving safety culture.

What this job involves

The successful candidate will be required to:

• Provide compliance assurance with TÉTRIS client and regulatory requirements regarding environmental health and safety.

• Collaborate with HSSE Lead & Quality Director to develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures required to meet all HSE compliance for the site.

• Support contractor safety management (LPS) program

• Provide administrative support for TÉTRIS and Client environmental health and safety programs.

• Support staff with the completion of HSE risk assessments and the identification of appropriate control solutions implement risk reduction/mitigation strategies as appropriate.

• Drive education and implementation of HSE initiatives regarding high risk activities Life Saving Actions (LSA) such as Confined Space Entry Electrical Safety LO/TO and Elevated Work.

• Inspect vendor operations using prescribed protocols.

• Collaborate with TÉTRIS vendor partners to assure they operate their businesses in compliance with TÉTRIS and Client requirements while on-site.

• Support HSSE Lead & Quality Director investigating work-related incidents injuries/illnesses and near-misses to facilitate root-cause analysis care management and reporting

• Support ergonomic program and workstation ergonomic assessments

• Support First Aid and AED program

• Support sites during audits from Client corporate HSE staff and/or regulatory agencies

• Support contagious illness and pandemic program management

• Act as backup to HSSE Lead & Quality Director during the HSE Site Manager absence.

• Perform other related tasks and assignments as requested

Sound like you To apply you need to be / have:

Essential:

• Health and Safety Technician level V certification

• Knowledge of HSE program management

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Microsoft Office proficiency

• English language proficiency

• Ability to work independently and think critically

Desirable:

• Degree in environmental safety or related field

• Construction industry HSSE experience
