Werelooking foranBusiness Analytics Specialistto join our GBS COO Business Insights & Analytics this role you willbe responsible fordesigning and developing metrics reports and analyses that support key business decisions. You will also gather and transform data from various sources into meaningful reports dashboards and insights for management.
This position plays a critical role in extracting actionable insights from data to inform decision-making improve processes and support organizational goals. By contributing to evidence-based strategies you will help the business understand its performanceidentifyareas for improvement and uncover opportunities for growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Gathers data from various sources including databases spreadsheetslogsand external datasets; scrubs and cleans data to remove inconsistencieserrorsor missing values to ensure data accuracy and accountability.
Converts raw data into a format suitable for analysis which might involve normalization aggregation or other transformations.
Assistsin building models to forecast future trends or outcomes based on historical data.
Designing and developing charts graphs and dashboards that help usersto understandcomplex data.
Creating regular or ad-hoc reports and analyses for management that highlight key metrics and trends providing analysis on the success of business operations.
Collaborate and directly work with cross-functional teams including business analysts developers stakeholders to gather and understand data requirements provide insights presentfindingsand analysis.
Conduct data mapping exercisesidentifyingdata sources understanding data structures and profiling data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Translate data-driven insights into clear user stories or business requirements that can guide the development of data-related solutions.
Proactivelyidentifyingand implementing process improvement opportunities to improve the accuracy and efficiency of assigned reports.
Provide training and mentorship to team membersand where applicable to individuals outside the teamon reporting processes and technical skill development.
Undertake complex ad-hoc requests and projects as.
Qualifications:
Education:Bachelors degree holders with relevant work experience are welcome to apply
Experience:At least5years experiencein any data analysis business reporting business intelligence or similar roles in the BPO/Shared Services industry.
Hybrid Work Arrangement:Amenability and readiness to work onsite and from home anytime (dependent on business need AND/OR current external environment/situation)
Shift Schedule:Amenability to work onmid shiftor nightshift(dependent on business need)
Minimum Skills to Hire/Must Haves:
Should have advanced knowledge on Microsoft Excel (Power Query & VBA Macro) andintermediate to advancedknowledge on Microsoft PowerPointand Business Intelligence Tools such as Python R for data queryingPowerBI QlikView Qlik Sense Tableau or any other similar tool.
Shouldhave hands-on experience in data analysis data manipulation and ETL processes skills such as collecting transforming and compiling raw data and generating useful reports from raw information.
Shouldhavedemonstrateddata storytelling data visualization and data governance skills to create compelling reports with dashboard elements like tables charts graphs heat maps and data models.
Shouldhavean extensivefamiliarity with data management concepts such as data warehousing data mining and extraction and predictive analytics and business reporting principles and best practices.
Should have analytical skills to rigorously and effectively examinelarge quantitiesof data and derive useful insights from these data sets.
Should provide mentorship to team members on best practices in reporting and dashboard development while also leading team initiatives and strategic projects.
