ESC and Ship Direct Supplier Coordinator

Job Summary
Job Description
The candidate will manage the material flow from sourced suppliers to our Electronic Service Centers (ESC) and to the end customer. They will also manage a group of selected ship direct suppliers that supply material directly to our end customer.
This position manages day-to-day ESC operations across the United States and Canada ensuring consistent inbound material flow to GM facilities that support the third-party dealer-facing ESC network. The ESC Coordinator works directly with the Production Pull Coordinator Supplier Performance Coordinators and Executive Escalations teams to resolve CCA part availability issues manage constraints and execute recovery actions. The role is responsible for identifying supply disruptions driving corrective actions and coordinating cross-functional resources to restore material flow. This position regularly engages SMEs across GPSC Customer Experience CCA Field Action Engineering and other CCA organizations to execute solutions and maintain operational stability.
Responsibilities:
- Execute complex recovery plans and resolve capacity constraints with the objective of eliminating SPAC cases and reducing backorders (BO) and pastdue inventory
- Manage escalations from CCA Field Action and Executive Escalation teams through resolution
- Manage critical suppliers to achieve department metrics related to aging SPAC backorders and BO
- Drive crossfunctional alignment and execution of aged ESC cases to closure
- Manage the ESC mailbox and support urgent escalations and customer requests
- Support launch execution activities and special Ship Direct cases for CCA
- Evaluate and coordinate expedited freight solutions to mitigate supply gaps
- Partner crossfunctionally with Engineering to support part disposition and correct level decisions
- Support the development and continuous improvement of business tools processes and documentation
- Assess complex supply chain issues and lead crossfunctional teams to minimize vehicle downtime impacts
- Summarize critical issues recovery actions and outcomes for leadership communication
- Demonstrate flexibility to work extended and noncore hours as required to ensure timely issue resolution
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Prior experience in supply chain logistics or material flow operations preferred
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively across multiple functions and organizational levels
- Proven capability to prepare summarize and present operational information to senior leadership
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills to address complex nonroutine supply chain issues
- Demonstrated ability to lead structured problemsolving efforts and manage action plans to defined resolution targets
- Ability to manage multiple timesensitive priorities in a fastpaced operational environment
- Anticipates business needs and operates effectively in situations with ambiguity and changing priorities
- Selfdirected and accountable with the ability to work independently while maintaining strong crossfunctional collaboration
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate within a global crossfunctional team to leverage resources and expertise
- Solid understanding of endtoend supply chain functions and material flow processes
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel and Access required) and IMS or comparable systems
