What Youll Do
As a key member of our quality team you will:
Primary Responsibilities
Follow all procedures and maintain strict adherence to quality standards
Obtain and maintain Self-Release certifications for key customers (e.g. GE P&W)
Conduct visual and other inspections to audit parts prior to shipment
Verify serial numbers and maintain full traceability in digital systems
Collaborate with internal and external auditors and customers
Coordinate with shipping teams to prioritize audit workflow
Document non-conformances and clearly communicate findings
Work with upstream inspectors/operators to resolve quality issues
Secondary Responsibilities
Review and disposition scrap castings and customer returns
Prepare scrap materials for revert processing
Evaluate rejected parts for potential rework
Determine and coordinate rework methods to restore conformity
Re-inspect parts to confirm successful rework
Maintain accurate records in Lot Control & AQCS systems
Support additional quality tasks as needed
What Were Looking For
Experience in visual or quality inspection (13 years preferred)
Knowledge of inspection methods (FPI Grain X-Ray Dimensional) is a plus
Ability to read and interpret blueprints (preferred)
Strong attention to detail with excellent visual acuity and color perception
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team
Ability to manage conflict constructively and work in a team environment
Willingness to obtain and maintain required certifications
