Job Description
As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Driver in Goldsboro NC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer in a government location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas stay visible to help deter security-related incidents and support a professional presence through strong communication and customer service. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to staff visitors and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and communicating with site leadership and appropriate public sector contacts.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings grounds access points and perimeter areas remaining aware of changing conditions across the location.
- Monitor entry and exit activity verify credentials and/or authorizations and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted or sensitive areas.
- Support order within the location by reporting hazards policy violations unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns while following post orders and use of force guidelines.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
- Have at least 6 months of armed security-related law enforcement and/or military experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
