Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by following site-specific procedures screening protocols and security-related policies at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Screen employees visitors contractors packages and/or vehicles entering designated areas and report unusual findings according to post procedures.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials authorizations and/or delivery information to help support controlled entry into restricted areas.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around entry points screening stations and perimeter areas with working conditions that may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
