Assistant Scientist
Circa 29000 dependent on skills and experience
12-month Fixed-term Contract full time (37 hours) with flexibility for part time

The Quality Environment & Assurance Assistant Scientist is a rotational role supporting Drinking Water Science Environmental Science and Bioresources. Youll gain experience across scientific disciplines supporting long-term ambitions for customer and scientific support.

Youll assist with capital investment programmes proactive risk management and event response while growing your knowledge and expertise through rotations and continuous learning.

Key responsibilities

  • Support capital investment programmes and regulatory documentation.
  • Assist with risk identification mitigation and communication.
  • Respond to environmental and water quality events.
  • Share learning and support continuous improvement.
  • Champion health safety and wellbeing.
