Leisure Attendant

• The LeisureOfficer(LO)willassistthe Sports Centre Manager in developing customer relationships creating a quality customer experience within the centre.

• The LOwill ensure the highest standard of customer care & service delivery is achieved within the centre. They will deal with complaints and issues brought to them inan appropriate wayandwork with theSports CentreManager to resolve any issues.

• TheLOwill carry out lifeguarding duties in line with centre and national standards as part of their daily shift duties.

• Carry out any training required in line with National Guidance to remain competent for role.

• The LOwillbe requiredto work shifts including weekends

• The LOwillassisttheSports CentreManagerin the management of the centreacross shiftsto ensure the centreis operational at all times.

• The LOwillassisttheSports CentreManagerin a safe way that ensuresall customers and staff are able to use the centre with minimal risk to their Health & Safety.

• TheyLOwill lead by examplesetting standards for visitingzero hourlifeguardstaff.

• The LOmay be asked toassistindelivery of Centre Swimming Lessons as.

• The LOwill be competent in membership sales and administration.

• The LOwill deal with stock and report any shortages to theSports CentreManager.

• Work withSportsCentre Manageron new initiatives and ideas.

• TheLOwill hold a key to the centre andopen upand secure centre at the end of shift.

• They will lead by example in all areas of the building ensuring the centre is a clean safe environment for both staff & customers.

• They will also provide visible leadership to all centre staff ensuring they are skilled & motivated to complete daily tasks.

• Deliver Gym Inductions and Fitness Testing giving advice to customers and staff.

• Be in possession orin the process of gainingan RLSS NPLQ qualification.

• Preferred experience within the Leisure industry or other suitable role.

• An interest in sport and the Leisure industry.

• Required to obtain an advanced DBS certificate as part of the process prior to offer.

• Competent swimmer

The Fire Service College (FSC) is a world-renowned further education training college that provides a range of resilience focused courses and programmes ranging from apprenticeships to fully accredited qualifications. On a 300-acre site FSC provides both practical and classroom-based learning in addition to remote/customer site delivered courses.
