In this career you will work with a team of talented people to take an idea for the next NXP microprocessor to having a fully qualified product shipping millions of units per month. You will draw upon your classwork for microprocessor architecture logic design design simulation analog circuitry CMOS transistor device physics high frequency signal propagation programming statistics and many other areas.
Job Summary:
- Work with diverse teams worldwide in multiple functional roles to provide and support cost reduction and yield enhancement test solutions as the part ramps into production
- Work on test programs on automated test equipment (ATE) with an emphasis on quality of coverage and cost effectiveness
- Characterize and debug new chips with Design and Product Engineering teams
- Participate in innovating new test methodologies and technologies to reduce development time and manufacturing costs through familiarity with the product its architecture and its design methodology
Skills/Requirements:
- Working towards Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
- Strong team player self-motivated leadership capabilities
- Strong problem-solving skills in a team environment
- Good communication skills
- Experience in software development (C/C/Java Python or other scripting language Linux/Unix operating system)
