Key Responsibilities
Conduct QA laboratory operations including startup/shutdown procedures sample testing beaker blending and basic QA/QC analyses following ASTM JIS and internal ILA methods.
Accurately enter review and manage test data specifications batches and documentation while maintaining organized electronic records and databases.
Serve as a key liaison between customers sales and QA/QC teams by communicating test results supporting troubleshooting and addressing quality or application concerns.
Maintain laboratory equipment supplies and safety standards through preventative maintenance basic calibrations proper material disposal PPE use and housekeeping.
Support quality systems and compliance initiatives including IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 audits crosscheck testing QC support nonhazardous shipments and R&D requests.
What Youll Need To Succeed As A Quality Assurance Technician
Bachelors degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field.
13 years of laboratory experience.
Proficient in MS Office (Word Excel PowerPoint) Outlook and basic use of SAP and SharePoint; Microsoft Access knowledge is a plus.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with internal teams and external customers.
Solid problemsolving mathematical and analytical abilities.
Selfmotivated detailoriented and able to perform accurately in a fastpaced laboratory environment.
Strong organization and timemanagement skills with high attention to detail.
Ability to work independently or collaboratively while meeting deadlines.
Comfortable working in and around a chemical laboratory environment.
Professional courteous and respectful attitude toward colleagues.
Ability to present ideas logically and contribute in a consensusbased decisionmaking environment.
Proactively seeks additional responsibilities and demonstrates sound judgment in laboratory situations.
