Qualification: Bachelors degree in computer science or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
Role: Data Masking SME / Data Privacy Engineer Experience: 710 Years Location: Bangalore Chennai Hyderabad Pune
We are looking for an experienced Data Masking SME to lead the design and implementation of enterprise data masking solutions across the organization. The candidate will be responsible for identifying sensitive data implementing masking strategies across production and non-production environments and ensuring compliance with enterprise data privacy standards.
Key Responsibilities
. Design and implement enterprise data masking frameworks to protect sensitive data across Dev Test QA and Analytics environments.
. Perform data discovery and classification to identify sensitive data such as PII financial and confidential business information.
. Implement static and dynamic data masking techniques across multiple databases and applications.
. Work closely with data engineering security and application teams to integrate masking solutions into enterprise data platforms.
. Define and enforce data privacy policies standards and governance practices.
. Support compliance initiatives related to data privacy and regulatory requirements.
. Automate masking processes within data pipelines and Dev/Test refresh processes.
Required Skills
. 710 years of IT experience with strong expertise in data masking and data privacy solutions.
. Hands-on experience with at least two enterprise data masking tools such as: Informatica Dynamic Data Masking Delphix Data Masking IBM InfoSphere Optim Data Privacy Oracle Data Masking and Subsetting
. Strong knowledge of data masking techniques such as Static Data Masking (SDM) Dynamic Data Masking (DDM) tokenization and data obfuscation.
. Solid experience working with databases such as Oracle SQL Server PostgreSQL or MySQL.
. Good understanding of data discovery data classification and data governance practices.
. Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS or Azure is a plus.
. Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders.
Preferred
. Experience working in large enterprise data environments.
. Understanding of data privacy regulations and compliance frameworks.
. Experience integrating data masking solutions into DevOps or CI/CD pipelines.
