As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver - Office Campus in BROOKLYN NY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine patrols stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide strong customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license as you support site coverage and quick response. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of buildings offices common areas and perimeter routes to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance or access issues.
• Monitor access points and verify identification and/or visitor authorization in accordance with site procedures; assist with directing visitors and deliveries to the appropriate areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including de-escalation support notifications to site contacts and documentation of actions taken.
• Complete patrol logs incident reports and shift turnover notes; communicate observations to Allied Universal supervision and site representatives as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 years of security experience.
• Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be 21 years of age.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
