POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Rack or guard rail repairs if needed
- Facility painting to include safety lines walls equipment and racking as needed
- Electrician knowledge working with up to 220V
- Hang TVs whiteboards and monitors as needed
- Change light bulbs on the plant floor and other lighting using a scissor lift as needed
- Dock door or panel repairs
- Janitorial duties
- Troubleshooting basic equipment (air compressors cardboard compactor and other equipment)
- Keep proper and accurate documentation and records
- Other Duties and responsibilities assigned by management
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or GED
- 13 years of warehouse maintenance or facility maintenance experience
- Ability to safely use a variety of hand and power tools
- Experience using electrical meters and material handling/mobile equipment
- Non-Commercial valid drivers license
Preferred: Technical certifications or formal training in HVAC electrical welding or plumbing would be a plus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles coolant and oils moving mechanical parts and addition the employee is periodically exposed to elevated heights.
- The physical requirements for this job directly reflect the essential functions necessary to be successful in this position. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to speak and hear. This position is very active and requires standing walking bending kneeling stooping crouching crawling and climbing as well as sitting throughout the day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. The employee will also need to adjust to changes in temperature and noise level.
Schedule/ Shift: 1st Shift Monday - Friday 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Over time there will be some required weekend work as needed.
