Job Description
As a Security Officer Campus Patrol with Active Clearance in Arlington VA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and deliver outstanding customer service and this role you will support a caring agile team that values reliability innovation teamwork and integrity while helping create a welcoming environment for employees and visitors.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents alarms and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting concerns through established site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings restricted areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and verify entry authorization in accordance with site rules helping to support security-related operations and/or the protection of sensitive property and information.
- Communicate with site contacts visitors and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents policy questions and/or changing conditions at the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
