Dayshift Maintenance Engineer

Description:
We are hiring for our client a well-established manufacturing business seeking a Dayshift Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Toome. This Dayshift Maintenance Engineer role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a stable environment with a strong focus on reliability continuous improvement and team collaboration.

The successful Dayshift Maintenance Engineer will play a key role in maintaining equipment performance reducing downtime and supporting efficient operations across the site all within a MondayFriday days-only shift pattern.

The Role:

Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across plant and machinery
Diagnose faults and implement effective solutions to minimise downtime
Support continuous improvement initiatives across the site
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health & safety standards
Work closely with production teams to maximise operational efficiency
Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation

The Person:

Experienced Maintenance Engineer/Fitter (electrical or mechanical bias)
Experience within a manufacturing production or industrial environment
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Proactive approach with the ability to work independently
Good communication and team collaboration skills
Strong awareness of health & safety practices
