Job Summary

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) seeks Assemblers who wish to work in a fast paced and ever changing high tech environment. If you have demonstrated successful experience in manual dexterity the ability to multi-task and possess process improvement skills we invite you to consider joining our innovative team!

We currently have availability on our second shift:

Second shift: Monday -- Friday 2:00pm -- 10:00pm

As an Assembler a typical day might include the following:

Following detailed work instructions to perform basic production duties such as assembly operating machinery packaging products building products and soldering.
Obtaining a basic understanding of quality and productivity standards.
Demonstrating a willingness to learn retain information and become proficient in basic electronic production processes.
Learning and following all safety policies.
Developing positive and effective working relationships with co-workers.
Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

Lift push pull and maneuver up to 40 pounds frequently
Sit and/or stand at least 8 hours
Vision correctable to 20/30 or better

Fine finger dexterity sufficient to handle and place parts with precision and accuracy for at least 8 hours

Pay Range Data

New hires generally start at $21.00 per hour (second shift has a shift differential of $1.75 per hour). We base our starting pay offer on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience training knowledge and skills.
