The Administrative Assistant for the Werner Treatment Center at Nebraska Medicine provides comprehensive clerical and operational support by coordinating schedules managing patient and team communications maintaining accurate records supporting clinic workflow and treatment coordination assisting with insurance and referral processes and ensuring a high-quality patient-centered experience while adhering to organizational and confidentiality standards.

Job Duties: Administrative Assistant
Support management and/or applicable department(s) by providing clerical and general office support logistical coordination and assistance with fiscal/data management.
Required Qualifications: Administrative Assistant
Minimum of one year clerical/general office experience required.
High school education or equivalent in Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel required.
Ability to problem solve required.
Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills required.
Ability to multi-task required.
Demonstrated organizational skills required.
Preferred Qualifications: Administrative Assistant
Experience working in a healthcare environment preferred.
Post-secondary education preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Outlook preferred.
Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
Demonstrated customer service skills preferred.
Ability to type 35 wpm with 90% accuracy preferred.
