Responsibilities
Support supplier relationships to ensure quality cost and delivery expectations are met
Assist in resolving supplier technical and manufacturing issues
Identify and help qualify new suppliers for hard-to-source components
Analyze supplier processes and support continuous improvement initiatives
Participate in PFMEA risk assessments and corrective action efforts
Assist with supplier audits and ensure compliance with quality standards
Review incoming materials to verify quality and specifications
Maintain documentation for supplier performance audits and process changes
Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to resolve issues and improve outcomes
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related technical field
15 years of experience in manufacturing supplier quality or engineering (aerospace defense or automotive industries preferred)
Basic understanding of manufacturing processes quality systems and continuous improvement methodologies
Familiarity with tools such as PFMEA process flow diagrams and root cause analysis is a plus
Strong analytical problem-solving and organizational skills
Effective communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and with external suppliers
Proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly Excel
Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow in a technical environment
