About the Role
We are looking for a skilled T-SQL / Linux Developerto join a global team delivering solutions within a financial servicesenvironment.
This role combines development analysis and productionsupport focusing on database programming scripting and systemoptimization while ensuring high standards of quality performance andreliability.
Key Responsibilities
Development &Maintenance
- Develop and maintain T-SQL code and Stored Procedures (Sybase)
- Enhance and optimize Linux shell scripts
- Analyze legacy systems and implement modern scalable solutions
Analysis & SolutionDesign
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Ensure alignment with best practices and industry standards
Testing & QualityAssurance
- Design and execute test plans
- Ensure code quality and performance standards are met
Documentation
- Produce technical and functional documentation
- Maintain clear records of developments and processes
Production Support
- Provide Level 3 (L3) support for critical systems
- Troubleshoot issues and ensure system stability and continuity
Technical Skills Required
- Strong expertise in T-SQL (Sybase)
- Experience with Linux shell scripting
- Basic knowledge of Python
- Familiarity with WTX and SAP Business Objects (nice to have)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
