Job Description
As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Specialist in Land O Lakes FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join Allied Universal at a government location as an armed patrol officer helping maintain order through routine patrols and visible presence. You will observe and document security-related activity respond to incidents and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while providing strong customer this role you will support an agile reliable and innovative team that puts people first delivers through teamwork and always acts with integrity.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
- Carry an authorized firearm and related equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies post orders and all applicable laws; maintain proper control handling and documentation.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner; request assistance from public law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings grounds parking areas and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by assignment and shift.
- Complete detailed security-related reports and activity logs monitor access points and/or surveillance systems when assigned and communicate observations and incidents to site leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess a Corrections Officer License.
- Possess a Law Enforcement Officer License.
- An Armed Guard Card/License is preferred.
- CPR/First Aid is preferred.
- A Guard Card/License is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
