Job Summary
What awaits you/ Job Profile | We are seeking an experienced MLOps & Cloud Engineer Orchestration & Reliability Specialist to join our BMW Techworks teams. You will design implement and maintain robust orchestration workflows using AWS Step Functions and EventBridge. This role includes building CI/CD pipelines IaC automation monitoring frameworks audit-compliant cloud infrastructure and scalable compute deployments across Lambda and ECS. You will also ensure compliance with BMW security networking and operational governance standards while defining and owning production runbooks. |
What should you bring along | 5 years of cloud engineering or MLOps experience (AWS preferred) Hands-on experience with orchestration automation and event-driven workflows Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and IaC frameworks Experience implementing monitoring cost governance and operational SLIs/SLOs Knowledge of enterprise security: IAM VPC KMS logging standards |
Must have technical skill | Cloud Orchestration AWS Step Functions for workflow orchestration EventBridge for event-driven automation Compute & Deployment AWS Lambda ECS deployment strategies Operational runbooks and reliability engineering Infrastructure as Code Terraform / AWS CDK following BMW IaC standards Monitoring & Governance CloudWatch dashboards alerts metrics Athena/Quicksight for reporting Cost governance and audit compliance Security & Enterprise Integration IAM KMS Secrets Manager BMW DevOps networking and audit requirements |
Good to have technical skills | Experience with ML pipeline orchestration (SageMaker Pipelines Kubeflow Prefect)
