Job Summary
Job Description
A dynamic and familial Trust is looking for a new Trust Accountant in Geneva.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements for companies and trusts for audit or direct submission to clients and regulators.
- Manage client accounting and participate in client meetings explaining accounting matters clearly.
- Supervise Bookkeeping and provid technical guidance and support.
- Resolve accounting discrepancies with Trust Managers clients and advisors.
- Prepare ad-hoc cash flow reports financial projections and periodic reporting.
- Process finalisation journals into accounting records.
Profile:
- ACCA qualification or equivalent.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in offshore trust & company accounting; experience with Swiss accounting is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping foreign currency accounting and accounting systems.
- Understanding of Trust and Company Law UK tax-related matters and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills in English (French is a plus).
- Proficiency in accounting software and strong spreadsheet skills.
- Ability to prepare accounts for various structures (property investment etc.).
- Client-oriented autonomous and able to work in a team.
