Job Summary:

There is an anticipated need for an Apprenticeship Program in the Gas Utilization Section for one or more Apprentice(s) at the Rice Street Service Center in St. Paul MN. The starting rate of pay for Gas Utilization Apprentice position is $34.20 (2025 rate).

This position will be posted for 10 working days March 19 2026 to April 1 2026.

Job Requirements:

1. Have a valid drivers license and keep the license while in the Apprenticeship Program and going forth.

2. Able to read and interpret distribution maps and design drawings.

3. Have a good understanding of Pressure Regulation and Metering.

4. Able to perform pipe fitting.

5. This position is subject to the D.O.T. RSPA Drug and Alcohol Testing Program.

6. Have the ability to become Operator Qualified through the Apprenticeship Program.

7. Be organized and task oriented.

8. Have teamwork customer relations and communication skills.

9. Have the ability to function independently under stress while responding to all types of Gas Emergencies involving Company facilities and public safety.

10. Be willing to learn and use all computer applications.
