In your first year with TI you will participate in the Career Accelerator Program (CAP) which provides professional and technical training and resources to accelerate your ramp into TI and set you up for long-term career success. Within this program we also offer function-specific technical training and on-the-job learning opportunities that will encourage you to solve problems through a variety of hands-on meaningful experiences from your very first day on the job. The TMG Development program is a 12-month program for new college graduates in the TMG organization.

Texas Instruments is looking for an energetic engineer with a passion who enjoys helping others succeed by providing team members and customers with support in a positive and professional work environment.

Encompasses both process and equipment engineering. Responsible for all aspects of a wafer fabrication process to include tool selection and process definition. Oversees the installation modification upgrade and maintenance of manufacturing equipment to include process setup technician and operator training. Use data to make intelligent improvements to overall fabrication process. Responsible for understanding all aspects of the process performed. This includes the interaction of the process to other fab processing to enable accurate product dispositions of non-conforming product. Compiles and evaluates test data to determine appropriate limits and variables for process or material specifications. Work with equipment vendors to sustain and enhance equipment performance from both a process and tool standpoint. Responsible for providing supervision to indirect technicians and technical support to operations team through definition of operation specifications and training aids. Interaction normally requires the ability to gain cooperation of others conducting presentations of technical information concerning specific projects/schedules etc. Tip: This job applies only to emplyees who demonstrate proficiency in and currently perform both mfg process engineering and equipment maintenance engineering.



Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering Chemistry Electrical Engineering Engineering Physics Mechanical Engineering Physics or other related engineering degree
  • Minimum Cumulative 3.0/4.0 GPA or higher

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated strong analytical critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
  • Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
  • Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
  • Ability to work effectively in an interrupt-driven fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong influential relationships
  • Possess exceptional customer interface and problem solving skills
  • Familiar with MBayse Spotfire 8D Root cause analysis techniques
  • Knowledge of standard Quality Systems such as QTS SFC QC Story Alerts
