DATES: 7/6/2026-8/6/2026 4 days per week Monday thru Thursday

HOURS: 7:45 am to 12:45 pm 5 hours per day

8:15 am to 1:15pm 5 hours per day

TITLE: ESY Special Education Teacher

QUALIFICATIONS:

Appropriate Massachusetts Licensure

A Bachelors or Masters Degree from an accredited college or

university with certification in special education

REPORTS TO: Site Coordinator/Program Director

SKILLS/RESPONSIBILITIES:Including but not limited to:

Prepare and implement lesson plans

Assists the program director as needed

Will track data as identified in students IEP and complete progress

reports

Adhere to ESY requirements

Overseeing snack and lunch time

Helping students on/off the bus daily

Strong communication skills

Team player

Good attendance

Be organized and able to multitask

Experience working with Elementary Middle School and/or High

School students

Enhance learning for students with special needs in the ESY program

Works closely with the program director paraprofessionals and other

teachers to ensure successful implementation of program goals

Works with special needs students in small group settings to maximize

learning

SALARY AND TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Hourly rate in accordance with the FRPS Educators Association Contract
