We have an exciting opportunity at GE Vernova for a Key Account Manager to join a dynamic sales team within the Power Transmission business line.
This is a customer facing role where youll be responsible for winning new business developing and converting pipelines and making an impact on relationships projects and programs that affect your customer base in the Transmission Distribution Power Generation and Industry in Denmark. Youll be guided by commercial practices policies and have significant influence over commercial priorities. Youll collaborate primarily with your colleagues in Power Transmission North Europe as well as with the broader Electrification businesses.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Responsible for sales of Power Transmission products by developing new customer accounts and grow business volume with existing customers.
- Create communicate and execute growth strategies and well defined account plans for assigned customer.
- Lead outcome selling account planning process with each strategic account to establish a deep understanding of their business outcomes and needs and align and quantify our value proposition with our customers specific business outcomes
- Creating and driving account opportunities from prospecting to closure using tools and teams available to drive customer success.
- Role includes quoting proposals marketing deal desk customer events and customer facing requirements.
- Uses judgment and has some ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated day-to-day problems with projects product lines markets sales processes or customers. Ability to prioritize information for decision making. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (e.g. sales marketing products) to align implementation of initiatives around prioritized customer segments targeted by channels. Coordinate with marketing/sales ops
- Discipline in CRM (Salesforce) sales processes and uses analytical thinking and commercial experience to execute strategy to drive growth.
Required Qualifications
- Significant experience within sales.
- Bachelors or Masters degree from an accredited university college or equivalent. Electrical Engineering background is a plus but not mandatory.
- Customer orientated and strong will to win business.
- Excellent negotiating skills.
- Ability to develop key customer relationships.
- Full proficiency in English an Danish.
- Unyielding commitment to integrity.
Desired Characteristics
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a distributed sales structure.
- Self-starter with high energy level is key to success in this position.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English and Danish language.
- Ability to analyse complex informations and resolve problems.
- Willingness to support the entire sales process from identifying tendering negotiating and order booking.
