Alternative Education Program

Our Alternative Education Program is seeking a steady studentcentered paraprofessional who can support instruction maintain a positive classroom environment and work closely with teachers to help students succeed.

What Youll Do

Support classroom instruction under the direction of licensed teaching staff

Provide oneonone and smallgroup academic assistance

Help maintain a structured supportive and traumainformed learning environment

Assist with behavior support redirection and relationshipbuilding

Supervise students during transitions breaks and other noninstructional times

Support documentation attendance and basic administrative tasks

Collaborate with teachers administrators and support staff to meet student needs

What You Bring

High School diploma or equivalent (required)

Active Indiana Substitute Teacher License or the ability to obtain one (preferred)

Strong communication patience and relationshipbuilding skills

Ability to remain calm consistent and supportive with students who may struggle in traditional settings

A teamoriented mindset and willingness to learn new strategies

Additional Premium Qualification
