- Monday to Friday
- 2 PM to Close (Approximately 10:00 PM)
- Weekend Call & Holiday rotations required
Performs diagnostic imaging examinations on pediatric patients ensuring the production of quality diagnostic images.
Essential Functions:- Prepares pediatric patients for radiologic procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Operates radiologic equipment to capture images of pediatric patients internal organs and structures.
- Reviews images to ensure they meet quality standards and are suitable for diagnostic purposes.
- Maintains accurate patient records and ensures patient confidentiality.
- Collaborates other healthcare professionals to coordinate proper patient care.
- Maintains and updates knowledge of radiologic technology and safety procedures to ensure the highest level of patient care.
Education Requirement:Graduate of an accredited educational program for Radiologic Technology required.
Licensure Requirement: - Active Status with the Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required.
- Valid R category Ohio Radiological License required.
Certifications:CPR certification required.
Skills:Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Experience: - One year of clinical experience in the Radiological Sciences required.
- Experience in pediatric setting preferred.
