Position Overview

Nicholas & Company is seeking a reliable and experiencedWarehouse Operatorto support daily warehouse operations. This role is responsible for safely moving staging and organizing product using forklifts and pallet equipment in a fast-paced food distribution environment.

Key Responsibilities

Operateforklifts and electric pallet jacksto move product throughout the warehouse
Build stage and transportpallets for outbound shipments
Performpallet put-away (let-down) and replenishment
Load and unload trucks while ensuring product accuracy and safety
Maintain properinventory placement rotation (FIFO) and tracking
Wrap and secure pallets for shipping
Conductdaily equipment inspectionsand follow all safety procedures
Keep work areas clean organized and compliant with warehouse standards
Assist with general warehouse duties as needed

Qualifications

1 year of experience operating aforklift and/or electric pallet jack
Experience working in awarehouse or distribution environment(food distribution preferred)
Ability to safely handle and movepalletized products
Comfortable working in a fast-paced physically active environment
Basic math and inventory skills
Strong attention to detail and safety awareness

Preferred Experience

Experience withRF scanners or warehouse management systems
Background inhigh-volume or food distribution environments
Familiarity with pallet staging loading and dock operations

Work Environment

Fast-paced warehouse setting
May includecold storage or freezer environments
Requires standing walking lifting and operating equipment throughout the shift
