The Opportunity
The Coaching Insights and Analysis group comprises three different teams and their mission is to help coaches and players better understand and learn from their matches through intuitive coaching and analysis tools. Were looking for aFull-Stack Software Engineerto join us and help turn match data and video into products coaches rely on every day.
Youll report to the Engineering Manager be part of across-functional product teamworking closely with engineers product managers and product designers to build and evolve these tools.
In this role youll work across the stack: crafting intuitive frontend experiences building scalable backend services and contributing to systems that power Veos growing platform.
What You Will Do
- Contribute across thefull stack building intuitive user interfaces while developing robust backend services and APIs.
- Take part in thefull product lifecycle- from ideation and design to development deployment monitoring and iteration.
- Build and maintainscalable systemsthat support Veos growing platform and user base.
- Contribute totechnical discussions architecture decisions and data modelingthat shape the long-term direction of the product.
- Ensureperformance reliability and maintainabilityin the systems the team owns.
- Collaborate closely with other teams across Veo including AI and platform teams to integrate insights and video-driven features into the product.
- Contribute to ahealthy engineering culturethrough collaboration code reviews and shared ownership of the product.
What You Could Bring
- 5 years of software engineering experience ideally in a product-led environment.
- Experience building and operatingfull-stack applications with proficiency in backend technologies such as Python Django or PGSQL and well as TypeScript and React on the frontend side.
- Openness to using modern AI tools as part of software development workflows and curiosity about how they can shape the way we design and build software systems.
- A strong sense forbuilding products that solve real problemsand deliver value to users.
- Experience designingclean maintainable systems with sound judgment around architectural trade-offs.
- Comfort contributing across the stack andcollaborating closely with Product and Designto shape user-facing features.
- A thoughtful approach totesting CI/CD and maintaining production-quality systems.
- Agrowth mindsetwith curiosity for new tools technologies and ways of working.
- Interest in sports video technologies ordata-driven insightsis a plus.
