Job Summary

Position Role: The Regional Lead (North) oversees RAC apprenticeship coordination and scheduling across Catterick Leuchars and Swanton Morley. The role supports HQ RAC under the direction of the Corps Apprenticeship Lead (CAL) to ensure effective delivery compliance and alignment with Corps apprenticeship objectives. This position is critical to maintaining high standards of learner engagement operational integration and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:
1. Manage apprenticeship activities and events across northern Corps locations on behalf of HQ RAC.
2. Act as the primary military liaison between RAC units and the apprenticeship service provider.
3. Align apprenticeship activity with unit deployments and out-of-barracks events including operational commitments.
4. Coordinate End Point Assessment (EPA) activity in collaboration with the EPA Organisation Service Provider and unit representatives.
5. Provide monthly performance updates on unit apprenticeship delivery
6. Implement early interventions to reduce Past Planned End Date (PPED) rates and Break in Learning occurrences.
7. Monitor Functional Skills progress and coordinate interventions for learners at risk of non-completion.
8. Ensure Ofsted readiness by supporting units in meeting compliance standards and maintaining accurate documentation.
9. Coordinate with external stakeholders (e.g. Pearson TQ EPA organisations Army Apprenticeship Team) to resolve issues and improve delivery.
10. Undertake additional apprenticeship-related tasks as directed by the CAL and HQ RAC.
