Electrical Quantity Surveyor

Outside Ir35 - 50 per hour

Start: Mid April

11 days on 3 days off or Monday - Friday(11 hour days)

Engenda Group are looking for an electrically biased QS to join us on site on a major energy infrastructure construction project in North London. You will be joining an already established on site team expanding from mechanical to a mechanical and electrical package of work.

You do not need to have a background in heavy industrial work power stations and the like (although it would be to your advantage) but you do need an indepth understanding of electrical installations. Do you know what 20 metres of containment looks like

Whats in it for you:

Minimum 12 month contract although likely longer
50 per hour Outside IR35
Choice of working 11 on 3 off or Monday to Friday (11 hour days / 550 per day)
Involved in the electrical package from inception giving you full control/visibility

This isnt just a desk based role youll also get out on site to see the installation first hand working directly with management teams giving you visibility and support at every stage.

What youll be doing:

Carry out regular site visits to inspect electrical installations working with managers to ensure work is completed in line with specifications and drawings.
Measure and value completed works on site producing accurate applications for payment and ensuring timely billing
Work closely with project teams and subcontractors to verify progress resolve discrepancies and maintain commercial control
Identify variations during site inspections recording and pricing changes to support cost recovery
Maintain clear and up to date documentation of site activities measurements and commercial records to support audits and client reporting
