Job Summary

The Mills Automotive Group is again growing in the Harvey / New Orleans area. We are immediately seeking several EXPERIENCED FORD Service Technicians in our Ford of Harvey location to help with our growing service department.Our starting pay rate for ALL our skilled line technicians is $25.00 per flat rate hour BUT if your that certified FORD tech WE WILL PAY YOU significantly more - Possibly beyond the $40 per hour mark. All our positions have the opportunity for great incentives above the base rate - and start paying from day one!
What You Do:
- Conduct repairs maintenance and inspections on FMC vehicles
- Line mechanic with all around experience
- Chassis brakes suspension electrical and engine repair
- Inspect vehicles for repairs and service needs using multi-point inspections and test tools
- Document and report on items completed and in need of further service via repair order and dealer computer system (electronic repair order experience a plus)Complete and attend manufacturer trainingas required
Successful attributes and skills:
- Own your tools
- Valid drivers license must pass background and substance abuse review
- Excellent communication skills and ability to be a team player
- Outgoing and friendly personality
- Professional and well-kept appearance
- Technical certification and training a plus
- State inspection license preferred
