We are seeking a Programmer Analyst 6 (.NET C# Developer) to join our team. This role will involve developing and supporting enterprise applications enhancing existing systems and working closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience Core development REST APIs SQL development and web application technologies along with a passion for building secure and scalable software solutions.

Location: Lansing (Hybrid 2 days onsite per week)

Duration: Contract - 1 Year

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced .NET Developer to support enterprise applications for a large government client. The selected candidate will work in a developer/analyst role providing maintenance enhancements and technical support for mission-critical applications. This role requires strong backend development experience along with front-end web development skills and experience working in Agile teams.

Required Skills & Experience

5 years of experience with .NET Core 3.1 or higher (6.0 preferred) and C#
5 years of experience developing RESTful Web APIs / Web Services
5 years of experience with SQL including writing and maintaining complex SELECT INSERT and UPDATE statements
3 years of experience developing document upload functionality for web applications
5 years of experience working in Agile / SCRUM environments
5 years of experience working with Git code repositories
5 years of experience developing unit and regression tests
Strong front-end experience with HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript and jQuery

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience developing secure web applications (SQL injection prevention cross-site scripting protection etc.)
Experience with Azure DevOps / TFS
Familiarity with SendGrid
Knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)
Experience working with Identity Provider (IdP) integrations using OpenID Connect (OIDC) or SAML
Experience using Azure DevOps Jira or similar SDLC tools
