Job Title: Biologist (Entry)

Location: Chesterfield MO 63017

Duration: 6 Months

Work Type: Onsite

Description:

The ideal candidate will primarily provide support for our high-throughput entomology testing platform via application of basic biological concepts and procedures
Responsibilities include the production of various solutions and artificial diets for insect bioassays care of plants in a growth chamber and/or greenhouse setting setup and scoring of insect bioassays and data entry. The usage and upkeep of laboratory equipment along with general lab/CE cleaning.
Requires a bachelors degree in biology entomology plant physiology or related field.
Key competencies include basic understanding of the principles of plant and animal life attention to detail results orientation customer focus teamwork strong written and verbal communication skills and problem-solving skills.
The successful applicant should be flexible self-motivated able to work in a fast-paced environment and able to work independently or as part of a diverse team.
Experience in agricultural biotechnology or automation/robotics is a plus.
Typically works under immediate supervision and reports to a supervisor or manager.
