Elementary Summer School Coordinators - 2026 - INTERNAL APPLICANTS ONLY
Description: Leominster Public Schools
Title I Summer 2026 Summer Academy (Current SY 25-26 Kindergarten - Current SY 25-26 Fifth Grade)
On-Site Coordinators (2 positions - locations TBA) June 29th through July 30th
Position: On-Site Summer Academy Coordinator Part-time/Contractual Hourly Rate ($50)
- Prior to start of the program up to 30 hours of preplanning and prep at Contractual Hourly Rate
- Twenty-two hours a week - Mon - Thurs - 7:15am - 1:15pm at Contractual Hourly Rate
Qualifications:
- Five or more years of teaching at the early childhood/elementary level
- Adhere to grant approved program design collaborate with administration and prepare professional development
- Clear communication skills with district leader staff parents and children
Responsibilities:
- Supervise Summer Academy Current K-5 FSU Reading Specialist Interns and on-site staff and students.
- Hiring recommendations for teachers and support staff
- Collaborate with district administrator to gather enrollment and registrations
- Create class lists communicate with bus company and creating bus lists
- Collaborate with staff on district goals and expectations for summer program
- Create a report at the end with all information and present to administrator
