What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff patients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including medical facility disturbances access concerns and requests for assistance.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of corridors waiting areas entrances parking areas and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards.
• Monitor access points and controlled areas verify identification and/or visitor authorization when required and direct individuals to appropriate destinations in accordance with site procedures.
• Document patrol activity incidents and notable observations in required logs and reports and communicate updates to onsite staff and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
