JOB DESCRIPTION :

Key Responsibilities: • Plan configure and execute network discovery scans and vulnerability assessment (VA) scans in Tenable across onpremise and cloud environments. • Perform regular and adhoc scans for network devices servers endpoints firewalls databases and applications ensuring complete and updated asset coverage. • Manage the full Vulnerability Management lifecycle: asset onboarding scanning validation risk rating remediation tracking and closure verification. • Analyze scan results to identify true positives false positives and exceptions; validate critical findings and provide clear actionable remediation guidance. • Prioritize vulnerabilities based on risk business impact exploitability and compliance requirements and coordinate with infrastructure application and security teams for timely remediation. • Develop and maintain vulnerability management processes standards and SOPs aligned with industry best practices and relevant frameworks (e.g. CIS ISO 27001). • Create and maintain dashboards reports and metrics on vulnerability status trends and remediation progress for technical teams and management. • Work closely with asset owners to schedule scans minimize business impact and ensure proper communication of downtime or performance implications. • Tune Tenable policies plugins and scan configurations to improve accuracy reduce noise and enhance coverage. • Track and follow up on remediation activities ensuring closure within defined SLAs and documenting risk acceptances or compensating controls where applicable. • Support internal and external audits compliance assessments and security reviews by providing vulnerability data evidence and reports. • Stay current with emerging vulnerabilities exploits threat trends and Tenable product enhancements; recommend improvements to the organization’s vulnerability management strategy. • Assist in knowledge transfer and training for team members and stakeholders on Tenable usage vulnerability reports and remediation best practices.
