MNLC supports newcomers with settlement services English language programs employment support and community integration. We are seeking an experienced Volunteer to work on Communications & Outreach to strengthen our visibility and community reach.
Role Overview:
We need a skilled communicator with nonprofit experience. This role requires someone who understands diverse communities and newcomer engagement. This is not suitable for high-school students.
Responsibilities:
Create content for website newsletters social media and outreach campaigns.
Develop stories that highlight MNLC programs newcomer impact and community initiatives.
Strengthen outreach to partners donors and newcomer communities.
Support communications for fundraising and community events.
Ensure consistent culturally responsive messaging across all channels.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of communications marketing PR or nonprofit outreach experience.
Strong writing editing and content-creation abilities.
Experience supporting newcomer or immigrant communities.
Ability to develop professional messaging and manage multiple channels.
Professional maturity; ability to work independently.
