Job Summary

The senior scheduler is reponsible for scheduling surgical and other major diagnostic procedures as ordered by the physician. This includes coordinating with off-site surgical facilities preparing records and films for the case communicating preoperative instructions to the patient and family and scheduling preoperative testing.Position Details:
*Onsite position at Mercy St. Louis!*
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: One year of surgical/medical office experience.
Other: Medical terminology. Computer skills. Telephone etiquette. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
