Position Overview
The MIG Welder is responsible for welding metal components to fabricate and repair products according to specifications and quality standards. This MIG Welder role requires strong welding skills attention to detail and the ability to produce consistent high-quality welds in a production environment.
Required Experience & Skills
Experience performing MIG welding on metal components
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld specifications
Strong attention to detail and weld quality
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Knowledge of welding safety procedures and best practices
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
The MIG Welder role includes:
Perform MIG welding to fabricate and repair metal components
Read and interpret blueprints drawings and work instructions
Set up welding equipment and ensure proper operation
Inspect welds for quality strength and accuracy
Maintain welding equipment and tools
Follow all safety procedures and company standards
Maintain a clean organized and safe work area
Weld Test Requirement
Mocked-up workpiece welded out using MIG
Preferred Experience
Experience in manufacturing or fabrication environments
Ability to perform consistent multi-pass welds
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods
Frequent lifting bending and working in a shop environment
Ability to work in conditions involving heat sparks and welding equipment
