Charge Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical (Telemetry) - PRN Nights

Work location:8200 Walnut Hill Ln Dallas TX 75231

Work hours:PRN Nights (as needed) rotating hours. Weekend and holiday requirements.


Medical Surgical department highlights:Med/surg Telemetry (29 Beds)- Medical Surgical patients and patients on Cardiac Telemetry. We take a wide variety of patients which includes telemetry post cath management some cardiac drips etc. Ratio is 1:5 but occasionally goes up to 6 on night shift. This unit has high patient satisfaction and employee engagement scores.

Heres what you need:

Education

Nursing Diploma required or

Associate degree Nursing required or

Bachelors Degree Nursing preferred

Experience

1 Year Experience as a clinical nurse in an acute care setting required

2 Years Experience as a clinical nurse in an acute care setting preferred

Licenses and Certifications

RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Req And

BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required and

ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days required and

CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training 60 Days required
